TEAMBUILD HONOURED TO ACHIEVED THE FIRST U SAFE AWARD

Creating Safer Workplaces– The Labour movement’s U SAFE Award aims to encourage more organisations to proactively build stronger workplace safety and health practices that safeguards workers.

Eight companies and eight individuals were recognized for their efforts and commitments to workplace safety and health during the second U SAFE Award on 16 May 2016 held at Devan Nair Institute for Employment and Employability. The event was organized by NTUC, NTUC Learning Hub and NTUC’s e2i, in partnership with Workplace Safety & Health Council (WSHC). Guest of Honour NTUC Assistant Secretary General (ASG) and Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Manpower  Patrick Tay presented the awards from two categories – the U SAFE SPARKS Award (for companies) and U SAFE STAR Award (for individuals).

Teambuild Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd was honoured to receive the 1st U SAFE STAR Award for our EHS Manager, Mr Allan Low. This award was also the 1st time the organizing committee opens out to public for their participation. He was also invited to give a speech on Teambuild’s Best practices that he had implemented on sites to share with the industry partners.

The award serve as a great motivation for our staff in our constant effort to ensure safety excellence in all our projects.
